This event will shed light on the deep connection between climate change and gender-based violence in Indigenous territories. As the climate crisis intensifies, Indigenous women and girls face heightened risks to their safety, rights, and wellbeing. Bringing together testimonies, data, and policy perspectives, the event will call for urgent, coordinated action to address these intersecting crises—advancing gender justice, strengthening community protection, and supporting Indigenous-led responses that safeguard both people and the planet.
