Description:

The event “Pact for the Life of Indigenous Women” will bring together Indigenous women from around the world to highlight their dual role: as frontline defenders of life and territories and as leaders of climate solutions through ancestral knowledge—restoring lands, sustaining food systems, and protecting biodiversity. Together with international allies and diverse Indigenous women’s groups, they will launch the “Pact for the Life of Indigenous Women”, a declaration to elevate Indigenous women’s voices, secure direct climate finance, and ensure resources reach territories effectively to support women-led solutions.
