Securing Indigenou s Peoples’ Land and Territorial Rights as a Pathway Out of the Climate Crisis

The aim of this side event is to highlight the critical importance of securing Indigenous Peoples’ land rights to address the three pillars of climate change – mitigation, adaptation and ‘loss and damage’. Based on the inputs we will make a number of cross cutting policy recommendations pertaining to all three fields.
