Description:
The panel will highlight the importance of respecting and incorporating indigenous perspectives on land management, resource use, and community development in order to ensure that no one is left behind in the transition to a more equitable and just future .It will also address the challenges that indigenous peoples face in participating in the transition process, such as lack of access to information, resources, and decision-making power. The panel will call for increased collaboration and partnership between indigenous peoples, governments, civil society, and the private sector to ensure that indigenous voices are heard and valued in the transition process.
